It's Holy Thursday so we went to church tonight. We've been meeting up with 3 Hungarians. They are Barbara, Pavel, and Tomas. Great young people. We always see each other on the trail and end up hanging out in the evenings. Tonight we had supper in the basement of the hostel. It was an old wine making cellar, very cool. Great meal as well and we were pretty hungry. (Garlic soup, salad, spaghetti and meatballs and a pudding. Of course wine is always included for 11 Euros.

Thursday, April 2nd. From Cinzi Menor to Cirauqui. It was 33 km for Ron and me and 28 km for Monique and Rémi. Ron and I decided to make a two and a half km detour to go see a famous octogonal church. Well, we sort of missed the beginning of the detour and ended up adding five km to our route. It was also a sunny warm day with temps to 18 degrees. Needless to say we were pretty dead upon our arrival. To make things worse, the village where we are staying is set on a mountain top. We had to walk up the last 2 km and our hostel is at the top of the hill. Great scenery today. Lots of farm land and vines growing. Here are some examples.

Love the detour part. Beautiful scenery all green compare to all white here. Snow has gone down some but still lots to go.
