Tuesday, April 7th, Rémi's birthday. What a beautiful sunrise. Walked from Santo Domingo to Belorado - 25.4km.  Not a bad walk today, up and down but nothing too severe. We walked out of Rioja county (wine county) and into Burgos county. I sent my bag forward as my neck and foot are not ready to bear the weight. It cost 5 Euros to send the bag. Upon our arrival in Belorado, we made to an amazing Albergue. The young woman who greeted us was cheerful and very accommodating. I then realized that my bag was nowhere to be found. She called the company to find out that they hadn't received a message to pick it up. The guy said that he would go back to pick it up but that it could take 2 hours. We took showers and hit the town. We had a few tapas or radio es as they are called here and a few drinks. We then bought a nice bottle of wine ne returned to sit in the garden to have a drink and ice our aches and pains. Supper was being served at 7:30. We ended up sitting with our Irish friend Peter and a friend of his, Noel. We were also joined by Sara, a young German woman. The meal was amazing and Rémi got a candle with dessert.
