Sunday, April 12- Fromista to Villasirga by taxi for me and Boadilla to Villasirga for Ron, Rémi, and Monique. We are scheduled to meet at Tasca Don Camino Albergue around 1-2 pm. I'm booked already and am now going to visit. There are approx. 216 residents in this village so it shouldn't take long. It is a beautiful day out so I can sit and contemplate life. Also, a new friend, Beth, with whom I had breakfast this morning, gave me a novel to read. I should be fine until meeting up with my amigos in early afternoon.
San Martin church this morning with sun coming up.

Saturday  Rémi, Monique and Ron. Hontanas to Boadilla - 28.2 km. they walked up some very steep hills. They met and walked with some young girls so Ron was quite happy. Boadilla was awesome. It had old stone sculptures and beautiful gardens. The mural entering the Albergue was impressive. They slept in an old renovated stable: big chairs, a fireplace, a piano, a sofa, and the host was very relaxed- Eduardo. He was ready to hook up with Monique because she works in Qatar. They met two young women carrying potatoes and eggs, hoping to have a kitchen to cook in. Supper was in the Albergue. About 20 people ate together in the dining area. They ate amazing chickpea soup, beef stew, and for dessert, chocolate ice cream. It was a very great Albergue. They had a great experience.
There are no pictures to go along with this day as we are having technical difficulties.

Sunday- Boadilla to Villacazar de  Sirga-20km. From Boadilla to Fromista there was a beautiful scenery, walking alongside a manmade canal. After Fromista it was not as pretty. They arrived in Villacazar de Sirga around 1 pm and I was hanging out waiting to meet up with them. By then I had met up with Linette from Vancouver. We chatted for about one hour. She was in the village for a day as she was having knee issues. We went to the Albergue, did a wash, had a drink, and walked back to the church with Beth to visit the church. Supper was served around 7 pm. By he time we ordered they only had two servings of chicken stew left, two servings of garlic stew, no fish, so it pays to show up earlier. It was fun though as we sat with Beth and Linette. After supper we head off to bed.
