Monday, April 13- day 15 of our walk. From Villacazar de Sirga to Calzadilla de la Cuerza -23.5 km. it was sunny and around 21 degrees by the time we got to our destination. I joined my friends on the walk today, without my back pack. It wasn't too bad. Rémi is using new insoles today and it seems to be helping. Monique's tendinitis has not flared up lately and Ron is using competed to cover his blisters.

Our breakfast after walking 5 km. tortillas (egg and potato frittata style) we then stopped at a bakery to pick up a few things for lunch. Wow, they had the best looking chocolate buns ever. We each bought one, and they were so good that we forgot to take a picture. We hope to find more of them.

The scenery was pretty boring today; beside and on a roadway for the first part and then a dirt road dor the rest of the way. We did find a picnic table for lunch. We arrived at the Albergue around  2pm. 

We chose the municipal one as there was no one around in the private hostel. It is quite nice, sitting 

and drying area, kitchen, nice showers, etc. it is a small town.We didn't even take a picture of the 

church as it was probably condemned. We walked around town and bought a bottle of wine from the little store (tienda). We are sitting, having a drink, eating olives and almonds. (quite a story to purchase those almonds).

 Oranges, apples, almonds. Good and sustaining.
