This a map of the complete camino de francès ( the French way)

This describes each phase, the number of km a day, the Albergues, things to see, etc.

Wednesday, April 22- in Sarria, again giving my foot some rest. It didn't rain yesterday as was predicted, but it should come down today, mostly in the afternoon. I will go out in a short while. I will go to the Oficina de Tourismo to get a few more booklets for my buddies. I picked one up a few days ago. It describes very well how the Camino de Santiago came about in a very shortened version. It also has a great map depicting the thirty or so phases with precise detail about the walk of the day, the Albergues, etc. là piece de resistance is the complete map of the camino francès.

Couldn't believe this. A stork built it's nest on top of a crane.

Did you notice that the crane shifted it's position. That means that it's a working crane and the stork is not being moved. So cool!
Well, not much took place for me today. I tried to get an appointment to see a physio for my foot, but it didn't work out. After walking around town for a few hours this morning, I returned to my room around 1:30. It was warm and the sun came out for about 20 minutes. Then the rains came. By late afternoon there was thunder and it was pouring. I ended staying in for the rest of the day. I spoke with Monique and Ron. They had another nice day walking and finished just before the skies opened up. I'll get their stories and pictures and upload their last three days tomorrow or Friday.
